Nudity in art exists as far back as art does. Ancient Greeks actually created statues of phalluses10 feet, and more, tall. The **** body is also considered the most perfect image for both positive and negative grounds (foreground and background.) In pornography, of course, ****** is required to fit the definition. No nudity, no pornography.

Interviewing an art history professor at your university would give you an excellent source of information, and perhaps, some good quotes. There is a book of quotes for and by artists, so see the research librarian in the university library to find it. It has helped me often.

Legally: ***** in art rarely have legal challenges. In the past pornography has had many legal hurdles, but freedom of speech has triumphed over many of those.

Religious: many religions object to ****** even in art, but some are more forward thinking. Some religions do not take an organizational stand on ****** in art, leaving that to the individual to decide. The same is true for pornography.

Cultural: this is where the real debate about pornography occurs. Comments come from nearly every source of cultural thought. Here again, I would recommend you interview some professors on campus to get some current thinking about it. Try talking to professors in psychology, sociology, medicine (think sexually transmitted diseases,) journalism, and any other majors that will talk with you.
